Attack on Kyiv: Five residents of destroyed apartment building missing

At least five residents of a high-rise apartment building in Kyiv, destroyed by a Russian missile, are currently considered missing.

According to Ukrinform, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko shared the update on Telegram.

He stated that emergency crews from the State Emergency Service had rescued one more person from the rubble of the building hit by the Russian missile in Kyiv.

"Search and rescue operations are ongoing. We have received information about at least five residents who are missing. They are not responding to contact from their relatives. Rescue workers will continue clearing the debris until we are certain everyone is safe and receiving the help they need," the minister said.

In total, 14 people were killed and 60 were injured in Kyiv due to the Russian attack.

In Odesa, one person was killed and ten were injured.

One person was injured in each of the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

Earlier, Klymenko said the Russian missile that struck the building in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district penetrated all the way through from the upper floors down to the basement. As a result, rescue teams are lifting heavy structural elements of the destroyed section to search for people trapped beneath the rubble.
