Drone attack on Chernihiv: four injured, homes, enterprise damaged

Four people were injured in an attack by Russian drones in Chernihiv where damage was also recorded to residential buildings, an educational facility, and an industrial enterprise.

The head of the Chernihiv Municipal Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"As a result of the overnight attack, a private house burned down. An apartment block, several private houses, an educational facility, and an industrial enterprise sustained damage," he wrote.

According to the official, four people were injured: two women and two men. The men’s injuries are assessed as grave.

"All the injured are undergoing treatment in medical facilities," Bryzhynskyi added.

According to the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, the city was attacked by Russian drones of the Geran 2 type.

"An emergency response headquarters has been deployed on the site, all relevant services are out there, working," he stressed.

Earlier, Bryzhynsky reported that two people were injured as a result of the Russian drone strike.
