Civilians killed, injured in Zaporizhzhia region due to Russian shelling

Over the past day, June 1, five people were killed and nine others were injured in Zaporizhzhia region as a result of enemy attacks.

This was reported by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Five people were killed, nine others were injured as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia region," he wrote.

Throughout the day, Russian forces launched 593 strikes across 16 settlements of the region. The enemy carried out one missile strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Additionally, there were 12 air raids and six rocket strikes from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

There were 56 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, in Kherson region, three people were killed and 19 wounded as a result of Russian aggression within the past 24 hours.
