Russian airstrike on Kupiansk kills utility worker, another in serious condition

As a result of a Russian strike on Kupiansk on the morning of May 23, two utility workers were seriously injured.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.

“At about 9.20, the enemy fired on Kupiansk. Preliminarily, the occupiers struck with a guided aerial bomb. At this time, we know about two victims - 60-year-old men, employees of a local utility company. The wounded were hospitalized in serious condition,” noted Syniehubov.

In a subsequent post, he said that one of the wounded had died.

“Unfortunately, one of the wounded utility workers could not be saved. The doctors did their best, but the man died. Currently, doctors are fighting for the life of the second victim,” wrote the head of the RMA.

As reported, yesterday, on May 22, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv region with drones and guided aerial bombs, causing injuries and destruction.
