
Russian ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih kills 12, injures over 50
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, reported the attack on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The damned Russians launched a ballistic missile into the center of a residential neighborhood. At this time, there are already 12 dead and over 50 injured," Vilkul wrote.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, in turn, posted on Telegram: "According to preliminary reports, 12 people were killed in the missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih, including three children."
Residential apartment buildings were damaged, and fires broke out. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force warned of the potential use of ballistic missiles by Russia.
On April 2, a Russian ballistic missile strike on an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih left four people dead and 17 injured.
