Ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih: Injury toll rises to 17

A Russian ballistic missile strike on an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih on the evening of April 2 has left 17 people injured and four dead.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The update indicates that 11 of the wounded remain hospitalized, while four people have lost their lives.

The attack also affected nine apartment buildings, vehicles, garages, a gas station, administrative buildings, and a post office.

"A relief center has been set up at the site where residents can receive building materials and apply for financial assistance from the city. Charitable organizations have also stepped in to support those affected," Lysak said.

Overnight, Russian forces launched drone attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian air defense units from the Air Command East shot down ten enemy targets.

In Pavlohrad, drone strikes shattered windows in an administrative building and two five-story residential buildings.

In the Mezhova community of the Synelnykove district, a Russian drone attack damaged several buildings.
