Russia using banned chemical substances in Kupiansk sector - CCD

Russian forces are using banned chemical substances in the Kupiansk sector.

Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Russians have started actively deploying toxic substances, with several cases recently reported in the Kupiansk sector. In fact, Russia is using banned chemicals, violating all established rules of warfare,” he wrote.

As reported, 109 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops have been recorded at the front since the beginning of the day, with fighting still ongoing in nine frontline sectors, the hottest being the Pokrovsk direction.
