Ukrainian Air Force debunk Russian fake about F-16 shot down over Sumy region

The Ukrainian Air Force has dismissed a fake claim by Russian propaganda alleging that a Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet was shot down over Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on Facebook.

The CCD noted that enemy Telegram channels were spreading false information, claiming that Russian forces had downed an F-16 in Ukrainian airspace.

The head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat debunked the fake, emphasizing that Ukrainian pilots continue to successfully carry out combat missions.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian propagandists continue to spread disinformation about alleged crimes committed by Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk region.
