Ukraine’s Forces repel 10 Russian attacks near Vovchansk, Mala Shapkivka – military

The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 10 Russian attacks near Vovchansk and towards the settlement of Mala Shapkivka.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group of Troops reported this on Telegram.

"The operational situation has not changed significantly and remains difficult. Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders conducted an airstrike with a glide bomb, deployed 71 kamikaze drones, and carried out 444 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Ten attempts by the enemy to attack near Vovchansk and towards Mala Shapkivka were successfully repelled," the statement reads.

The report also notes that, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 86 Russian soldiers, destroyed 69 units of weapons and military equipment, and 60 shelters for personnel in this sector of the front.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to March 19, 2025, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 898,070 personnel, with 1,060 casualties reported over the past day.
