As many as 513 civilians still remain in the heavily shelled town of Siversk, Donetsk region, while evacuation efforts are ongoing.

This was reported by Head of the Siversk Town Military Administration Oleksii Vorobyov during a live broadcast, according to Ukrinform.

"Every day, we try to persuade people to leave because the situation in the town is very difficult. People are evacuating, and we are helping them move to safer areas. Thankfully, there are no children left in the town. Currently, there are 653 people in the community, including 513 residents in the town itself," Vorobyov said.

He noted that the town’s shelters are stocked with food, fuel, Starlink communication, and medical supplies.

"For basic needs, we regularly deliver food packages, bread, and water to the town, and twice a week, we provide hot meals," Vorobyov added.

He reminded that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, Siversk has been left without electricity, gas, and water — "there's nothing."
