
Defense Forces strike multiple strategic facilities in Russia – General Staff
According to Ukrinform, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
“Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, on the night of March 11, struck a number of strategic targets of the Russian Federation involved in ensuring armed aggression against Ukraine. In particular, the production facilities of the Moscow Oil Refinery, which is capable of processing 11 million tons of oil per year and provides 40-50% of the needs of the city of Moscow in diesel and gasoline, were hit,” the statement said.
As noted, explosions were also recorded in the area of the Stalniy Kony (Oryol region of the Russian Federation) line-production dispatch station, which provides control over the technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline and is an important component in the processes of oil supply to the terminal of the Ust-Luga seaport in the Leningrad region.
It is known from open sources that a number of civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged as a result of the Russian aggressor's air defense.
The General Staff noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have detailed information about the strategic facilities involved in ensuring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, adhere to international humanitarian law and take measures to protect civilians as much as possible.
As Ukrinform reported, the Russian Defense Ministry said that on the night of March 11, Russia was attacked by hundreds of drones, 337 of which were allegedly shot down.
