
Ukraine downs Russian ballistic missile, 79 drones overnight Tue
That’s according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukrinform reports.

From 19:00 on Monday, March 10, Russian troops attacked Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from the Taganrog region and 126 Shahed attack UAVs and decoy drones of various types launched from Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The air raid was repelled by Ukraine’s aviation, air defense forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 08:00 on Tuesday, March 11, an Iskander-M missile and 79 drones have been shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, and Kherson regions, as per confirmed reports.
Thirty-five enemy drones vanished from radar, causing no damage on the ground.
The raid affected the regions of Donetsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, an air alert went off in Kyiv region and a number of other regions across Ukraine in the late hours of Monday, March 10.
