Ukrainian forces have repelled a Russian assault in Ukraine's northern Sumy region, with drone operators from the "Prime" strike UAV unit and mortar crews from the State Border Guard Service playing a key role in the defense effort.

Ukraine's State Border Guard Service released video footage of the engagement, Ukrinform reports.

According to the report, a three-man Russian infantry group crossed the border and attempted to approach Ukrainian positions.
