
Russian forces strike civilian infrastructure in Sumy, one dead
Ukraine's State Emergency Service announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"During the night of March 6, the enemy once again attacked the city of Sumy. A civilian infrastructure facility was hit, causing a fire over an area of approximately 500 square meters. Several vehicles were also damaged," the statement read.
Firefighters have since extinguished the blaze.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported on Facebook that overnight and into the morning, Russian forces also attacked the Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, and Velyka Pysarivka communities.
The Yunakivka community was hit with guided aerial bombs and shelled with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The Myropillia and Khotin communities were also bombed with glide bombs.
The Sumy community sustained drone attacks, damaging non-residential buildings and 20 vehicles.

The Krasnopillia community was targeted with drone-dropped VOG-type munitions.
The Velyka Pysarivka community was hit with 12 mortar shells.
