
Ukrainian forces down 68 Russian drones, 43 vanish from radar
The Ukrainian Air Force announced this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Between 19:00 on March 5 and the morning of March 6, Russian forces launched a massive aerial assault, deploying two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Russia's Voronezh region and occupied Crimea, along with 112 attack drones, including Shahed UAVs and other decoy drones. The drones were launched from multiple locations, including Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, and Bryansk in Russia, as well as Chauda in Crimea.
The Ukrainian Air Force, in coordination with anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) teams, and mobile fire groups, repelled the attack.
As of 09:00, Ukraine confirmed the destruction of 68 Shahed drones and other UAVs over the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions. Meanwhile, 43 Russian decoy drones disappeared from radar without causing any negative consequences.
The attack caused damage in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
