Ukrinform
A radar that is part of the S-300/S-400 air defense system caught fire in the temporarily occupied Crimea’s Saky.
This was reported by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, Ukrinform saw.
"Fire show today in Saky. On the Yevpatoria highway at around noon, a radar from the S-300/S-400 air defense system was burning merrily," the report says.
It is noted that the 96L6E radar is a multi-altitude target detector costing tens of millions of dollars.
"What happened remains unclear, but we hope that it will burn to the ground," the report added.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Russia suffered casualties after Ukrainian attack targeting a military airfield in Saky.
