Ukraine’s military confirms attack on Russia’s Syzran refinery, oil pumping infrastructure in Rostov region

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other elements of the Defense Forces, hit a number of significant targets in Russia overnight Tuesday, March 4.

This was confirmed by the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces via Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In Russia’s Rostov region, oil pumping infrastructure involved in supplying the invaders' army was affected. Powerful explosions and a blaze were recorded on the facility premises.

There was also a strike that targeted production facilities at the Syzran oil refinery in Samara region despite the enemy actively involving electronic warfare and air defense systems. A fire was recorded at the enterprise.

Also, the reports came of powerful explosions in the area of ​​the Sokhranovsky linear production department of trunk gas pipelines in Rostov region.

Detailed reports about the consequences of the strikes are currently being verified, the General Staff noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in Russia, UAVs attacked an oil refinery complex in Ufa.
