Russia’s new tactic: “Kolobok” kamikazes

Ukrinform
In the Toretsk axis, the enemy utilizes manpower to destroy Ukrainian positions, and these Russian "kamikazes" die while delivering mines.

This was reported on national television by the spokesman for the Luhansk grouping of troops, Dmytro Zaporozhets.

"The number of positions (in the Toretsk direction - ed.) that meet the defense capability requirements, is shrinking. The enemy is actively destroying positions, hitting them with FPV drones and launching artillery strikes, so, of course, we are forced to retreat from such positions. But in general, the enemy pays a high price for destroying our positions because, among other things, they employ tank mines and ‘suicide bombers’, who are told to approach a particular position or die right beside it in order to have it destroyed, or hoping to hurl some explosive device, for example, a TM-62, which does not always detonate,” Zaporozhets said.

The spokesman explained that the Russian military who are ordered to deliver explosives are often referred to as “koloboks” (after a Russian fairytale “Little Round Bun”) and they do not always make it when trying to run off to a safe distance during the explosion. Sometimes the invaders die even at the stage of bringing the mines to the Ukrainian positions.

As Ukrinform reported, Russia’s total war casualty toll since the big invasion has been estimated at 876,720, including 1,110 killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.
