On February 28, the Russian invaders shelled three communities in Donetsk region, resulting in three deaths and two injuries. Among the deceased were two pensioners who were riding bicycles.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Three communities in Donetsk region came under the invaders’ fire, as a result, three civilians were killed, two others were injured… Prosecutors are documenting the consequences of the cynical attacks on the civilian population by the Russian armed forces," the statement says.

It is noted that, in particular, in the morning of February 28, 2025, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Lyman with an FPV drone. As a result of the explosion, two men, aged 61 and 62, who were riding bicycles, sustained injuries incompatible with life.

Myrnohrad was also shelled, where a 53-year-old local woman was killed in an artillery attack.

Another enemy drone hit the outskirts of the village of Stavky in Lyman Territorial Community. A 56-year-old civilian was injured by a mine explosion and suffered a head injury as well as shrapnel wounds.
