Police reveal aftermath of drone attack in Kyiv region

A 19-year-old woman was injured, and private houses and a vehicle were damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack in Kyiv region.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported the incident on Telegram.

"Overnight on February 26, Russia once again launched a drone attack on Kyiv region. At 00:50 AM, blast waves damaged windows in houses in Bucha district. A two-story private house also caught fire. Emergency services are currently working to extinguish the fire," the report states.

Police added that in the same district, a private house, a garage, and a car were also damaged. A 19-year-old woman was injured and has been hospitalized.

"Patrol police response teams, an investigative task force, and bomb technicians from Kyiv region police are working at the scene to document the aftermath of the attack," law enforcement officials added.

Earlier, late on February 25, the Russian forces launched several groups of attack drones from different directions. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.
