Russian nighttime attack damages houses, sparks fire in Kyiv region

This was announced by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“During the night, the enemy launched an attack on the Kyiv region using attack drones and missiles. Air defense forces were activated in the region, and enemy targets were shot down. There have been no reported casualties among the civilian population, nor have there been any significant damage to critical infrastructure,” the report says.

However, the attack did result in non-residential buildings catching fire in the Obukhiv district, and in the Boryspil district, nine private houses and a vehicle were damaged by the debris from downed UAVs.

Kalashnyk has stated that operational services are currently engaged in efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack, and more detailed information will be provided later.

As Ukrinform reported, the enemy attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles on the night of February 12. Explosions were heard in serval regions and in Kyiv.
