Elderly woman dies in hospital after morning shelling in Kherson

A 72-year-old woman has died in the hospital from injuries sustained in a morning Russian shelling in Kherson.
That's according to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the war crime that led to the death of the individual," the statement reads.
According to the investigation, on February 10, 2025, at approximately 08:45, Russian forces carried out an artillery attack on the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.
As a result of the attack, the 72-year-old woman sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital.
