Kherson authorities show devastation from Russian airstrike on residential area

A Russian guided aerial bomb struck a residential area in Kherson, causing severe damage and injuries.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported this on Telegram, as per Ukrinform.

"This is what central Kherson looks like after the Russian airstrike. Russian terrorists dropped a guided aerial bomb on a residential area. Two women are known to be injured, one of them is in critical condition," the post reads.

According to Head of the Kherson RMA Oleksandr Prokudin, a 40-year-old woman is in moderate condition with blast trauma, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to her back. A 46-year-old woman is in critical condition, suffering from blast trauma, a concussion, and abdominal injuries.

At 17:15, two casualties were confirmed. Later, reports indicated a third victim. Emergency responders are working to rescue a person trapped under the rubble.

As reported, at 16:20 on February 2, Russians launched an airstrike on Kherson.
