President Volodymyr Zelensky showed the consequences of the morning enemy shelling of Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia and called on the world to join forces to increase pressure on Russia and its henchmen.

“In the morning, the enemy launched a ballistic missile attack on the center of Kyiv. There is a fall of debris. We know about three dead and three wounded. My condolences to the families and friends. Residential buildings, a metro station, shops, cafes and civilian infrastructure have been damaged. All services continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling,” he said in a statement.

The Head of State added that Zaporizhzhia was also hit. “We know about ten victims, other people may be under the rubble. The infrastructure was destroyed, many people's homes and shops were damaged. The rescue operation is still ongoing,” Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine called on the world to join forces to increase pressure on the Russian state and all those who help it in this war.

“All those who help the Russian state in this war must be under such pressure that it would be felt no less than these strikes. We can do this only in unity with the whole world,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, four people were killed and three injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv as a result of a Russian ballistic attack on the morning of January 18.

In Zaporizhzhia, ten people were injured in a Russian morning attack.
