Three killed, 16 injured in Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia, rescue operation ongoing

The number of those injured in a Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia on December 10 has increased to 16.

Zaporizhzhia Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"The rescue operation is ongoing. As of now, the number of those injured has increased to 16," he wrote.

At least eight people are believed to still be trapped under the rubble of a private clinic destroyed in the attack.

"At least eight people are under the rubble of a building destroyed as a result of an enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia," the report said.

Emergency services are conducting search and rescue operations. Three medical teams are also working at the scene.

On Tuesday, December 10, at around 15:00, the enemy launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, destroying a private clinic. Three people were reported killed and 14 injured in the strike.
