Russian strike targets Zaporizhzhia, hitting infrastructure facility

The Russian invasion forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, targeting critical infrastructure.

That’s according to Ivan Fedorov, chief of the regional military administration, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy has targeted one of the critical infrastructure facilities. Damage’s done," the report says.

Fedorov says no casualties were reported.

Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Rehina Kharchenko, added that there was no significant destruction in the residential areas as no households were damaged.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, an explosion rang out in Zaporizhzhia at around 13:00 Kyiv time.
