Ukrainian air defenses down two Russian reconnaissance drones in Kherson region

Ukraine's air defense forces have shot down two Russian Merlin-VR reconnaissance drones in Ukraine's southern Kherson region.

Ukraine's Air Command South announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"On January 24, 2024, soldiers with the Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigade destroyed two Russian Merlin-VR reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles in the Kherson region," the post said.

Earlier reports said that two enemy missiles were intercepted in the Dnipro district, Dnipropetrovsk region, on January 24. Missile debris fell on the territory of an enterprise, injuring a 38-year-old man.
