Communities in Ukraine's southern Kherson region have purchased a hundred FPV drones for the special units of the National Guard, National Police and Marine Corps.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"The strike drones were handed over to the special units of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine. Marine units also received Mavic drones," Prokudin said.

According to him, UAH 2 million was earmarked for the purchase of the UAVs. The funds were allocated by the Skadovsk, Verkhnii Rohachyk and Vynohradove communities. The Chornobaivka village military administration helped with the purchase.
