Russia hits Kharkiv hotel, leaving 11 injured

The number of civilians injured as a result of the latest shelling of Kharkiv by Russian invasion troops has increased to 11. Nine of them required hospitalization.

That’s according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of enemy shelling targeting the center of Kharkiv, 11 people were injured: four men aged from 31 to 38 years; seven women – from 23 to 71 years old," he wrote.

Nine victims were rushed to medical facilities and two were treated on the spot.

According to Syniehubov, a 35-year-old man is seriously injured and eight patients are in moderate condition.

As reported, in the late hours of January 10, Russia’s missile strike targeted a hotel in the center of Kharkiv. Among those injured were journalists from a Turkish media outlet.
