As of late October, large units of the Wagner Group have been assimilated into the command structure of the Russian Guard under the leadership of Pavel Prigozhin, the son of the group's founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, who died in a plane crash in August.

Wagner Group has resumed the recruitment campaign, the British Ministry of Defense reported on X, referring to intelligence data, as seen by Ukrinform.

It is noted that other groups of Wagner mercenaries have most likely joined another Russian “private military company”, Redut. According to an investigation by Radio Free Europe, Redut now has 7,000 personnel in total.
