Tavria direction: over 400 militants, 35 pieces of equipment eliminated over last day

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized 406 Russian invaders in the Tavria direction, including six who were captured.

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

"The total enemy losses amounted to 406 people. Six occupants surrendered," he said.

According to the commander, the missile and artillery units of the Tavria Joint Forces Operation performed 1,336 firing missions over the course of the day.

The number of destroyed enemy military equipment in the Tavria direction reached 35 units over the day.

In particular, a multiple rocket launcher system, seven of their drones and three tanks were destroyed.

Also, three enemy artillery systems, the same number of armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles and four units of special equipment of the Russian Federation were destroyed over the day.

In addition, the Defense Forces damaged another 12 units of weapons and military equipment of the Russian troops, and destroyed two enemy ammunition depots.

During the day, the Russian army conducted 28 combat engagements in this area of the frontline, carried out 21 air strikes and 923 artillery attacks.

As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had a partial success south of the village of Robotyne, in the Zaporizhzhia region.
