Ambassador: Number of Ukrainians killed in Israel rises to 23

As a result of the HAMAS attack on Israel, 23 Ukrainian citizens were killed.

This was reported by the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky on the social network X (formerly Twitter), Ukrinform reported.

“According to the updated report, 23 Ukrainian nationals were killed by HAMAS as a result of the attack on Israel. This is the second only to USA number of foreigners killed in the attack”, he wrote.

As reported, in the morning of October 7, the Palestinian Islamist group HAMAS launched an attack on Israel. The militants broke into the country, simultaneously launching a massive missile strike. The invasion was accompanied by mass killings of civilians, including children. As a result of this attack, more than 1,400 Israelis were killed, and about two hundred people were taken hostage by the militants.

At night on October 13, the Israeli military warned the UN that the entire population of Gaza north of Wadi Gaza should move to the southern part within the next 24 hours. About 1.1 million people live in the region. Currently, people are leaving the region. HAMAS militants are obstructing the evacuation of civilians.

Earlier it was reported that 13 Ukrainian citizens were killed in Israel.
