Russian missile attack on Kyiv: over 20 incoming targets downed

Overnight Wednesday, the Russian invasion forces launched a massive, combined strike on Kyiv employing attack drones and missiles.

That’s according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"At first, the Russians used attack UAVs (tentatively, Shahed-type kamikaze drones). Several groups of drones were heading to Kyiv from different directions. Soon, Tu-95ms strategic aircraft launched missiles targeting the capital," reads the report posted on Telegram.

In total, Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed over incoming aerial targets, the report says.

As Ukrinform reported earlier referring to Kyiv authorities, at least two people were killed in Kyiv by the latest strike.
