The Ukrainian Air Force fleet will have several types of aircraft, and Ukrainian war pilots will become "Top Guns" of the 21st century.

This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, who spoke in an interview with DW, Ukrinform reports.

"There are 14 countries in the air coalition today, and their number is increasing almost every week. I think we will talk with all partners in order to find the optimal form for Ukraine’s Air Force fleet, which will include several types of aircraft," Yermak said.

According to him, today this is about forming a new Air Force fleet, and there are several types of aircraft that can be added to it, besides F-16s.

"I'm not a military man, this is done by professionals, but as far as I know, there are several types of aircraft that can be combined. That's why, of course, this process is currently underway," said the head of the President’s Office.

He recalled that President Volodymyr Zelensky and his team recently returned to Ukraine after a series of “very successful” visits to Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Greece, as a result of which Denmark and the Netherlands expressed readiness to provide a number of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which “motivates Ukrainian soldiers at the front.”

"I spoke, for example, with General (Oleksandr – ed.) Syrskyi (Commander of the Ground Forces - ed.), asking him how our soldiers felt in the wake of the news that we had already heard a specific number of F-16 fighters to be delivered. So he told me that everyone is really very happy, and that it really motivates our soldiers. That’s because very soon, I'm sure, we will reign over the sky as well. I think that our pilots will definitely become the "Top Guns" of the 21st century," emphasized Yermak
