Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to nearly 258,000

From February 24, 2022 to August 21, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 257,930 Russian military personnel, including 460 soldiers over the past day.
This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.
Moreover, the Ukrainian troops destroyed 4,358 (+12 over the past day) enemy tanks, 8,449 (+14) armored combat vehicles, 5,264 (+19) artillery systems, 719 (+2) MLRS, 489 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,309 (+5) operational-tactical UAVs, 1,406 cruise missiles, 18 ships/boats, 7,692 (+12) vehicles and fuel tanks, 794 (+4) special equipment units.

As reported, more than 25 combat engagements took place over the past day. The offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ongoing.
