Russian troops shell 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region in past day

On Sunday, August 13, Russian troops shelled 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, killing two civilians.

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"There were 99 strikes on 24 settlements - Zaporizhzhia region came under attack by the occupiers again," he said.

Malashko noted that seven enemy UAVs attacked Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Charivne, Novodarivka and Mali Shcherbaky. Five MLRS attacks hit Novodarivka, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, and Pavlivka, three missile strikes hit Stepne, and an air strike was launched on Piatykhatky.

Over the past day, the Russian military carried out 83 artillery strikes on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Chervone, Olhivske, Verkhnia Tersa, Bilohirya, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Piatykhatky, Lobkove, Stepove, and Plavni.

A 77-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were killed in a missile attack on Stepne. Another 64-year-old woman was injured and taken to a medical institution.

According to the region’s head, 15 reports about damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were received.

As reported by Ukrinform, a supermarket, apartment buildings, buildings of educational institutions, cars, a pharmacy and a dormitory of a higher educational institution were damaged in Odesa by an enemy air strike overnight.
