Russia doesn't have ability to produce new Kh-22 missiles - analyst
Petro Chernyk, a military expert, said this during a roundtable discussion at the Military Media Center, according to Ukrinform.
"Once the Russians run out of old Soviet Kh-22 cruise missiles, which have the largest warhead weight among the missiles they have - 960 kg - it will be impossible to produce new ones. But at the same time, they can build relatively new 3M-14 'Kalib'r, X-101, and X-47M2 'Kinzhal',the expert noted.
According to approximate estimates, Russia can produce 60 to 80 missiles of various types per month, Chernyk said.
As reported, the US administration is preparing to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include missiles for the Patriot and HIMARS systems, anti-tank and other weapons.
