Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to about 249,110
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Between February 24, 2022 and August 5, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 4,232 tanks (+4 over the past day), 8,251 armored fighting vehicles (+2), 4,943 artillery systems (+32), 704 multiple launch rocket systems, 466 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 315 aircraft, 311 helicopters, 7,422 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+30), 18 warships/boats, 4,116 unmanned aerial vehicles (+12), 730 special equipment units (+6). A total of 1,347 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.

A reminder that Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, gaining a foothold within the re-captured frontiers, and carrying out counterbattery measures.
