Russian Navy increasing number of missile carriers deployed off Crimea coast

The Russian invasion forces are increasing the presence of missile carriers in the Black Sea, having put on combat duty submarines and warships with a total volley of up to 12 missiles.

That’s according to the press service of Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy is again increasing the presence of missile carriers in the Black Sea. Submarine and surface missile carriers have been successively put on combat duty.

Now the total volley of Kalibr cruise missiles can reach 12. The level of the missile threat is now very high," the report says.

The press service urged the Ukrainians to be vigilant and take shelter immediately once the air raid alert goes off.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of the morning of August 2, Russia kept a single Kalibr cruise missile carrier on combat duty in the Black Sea with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
