Ukraine will use weapons produced on its territory to destroy the aggressor where it deems necessary.

Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, said this on Ukrainian television, commenting on drone attacks against Russia.

"This means that we will not allow these terrorists to rest until they leave the territory of our country. We will not ask anyone how to use the weapons produced on the territory of our country in order to destroy the aggressor where we consider it necessary - be it Moscow, St. Petersburg, or some other populated areas. We will not ask permission from anyone, it is our business to act as we deem necessary. Because we need victory. And it would be wrong to think that everything will happen only on our land," Danilov said.

Asked why the Moscow City business center, which houses three Russian ministries, was chosen for drone attacks, Danilov said that this bears some symbolism.

"You know, this is also a war of symbols. There was the cruiser Moskva, now this is Moscow City. Everything connected with Moscow, with the city from where all those scoundrels make decisions to kill our citizens, should cease to exist," Danilov said.

Earlier reports said that several drones attacked the Russian capital early on August 1, one of them hitting the building of the Moscow City business center.

On Saturday, July 30, explosions rang out in Moscow. The building of the IQ-Quarter complex in the Moscow City business center was damaged in a drone attack.
