Death toll in Kryvyi Rih rises to six, 75 injured

The sixth death was recorded in Kryvyi Rih as a result of a morning missile strike, 75 people were injured.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"There are already 6 deaths in Kryvyi Rih. As of this hour, there are 75 victims, including six children," Lysak said.

As a result of a Russian missile hitting a nine-story residential building, 32 apartments were destroyed and 37 others were damaged. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The building of an educational institution was also partially destroyed.

It is noted that firefighters extinguished the fire in an area of 70 square meters in a residential building.

According to the State Emergency Service, 349 people and 80 equipment units are involved in search and rescue operations in Kryvyi Rih. They have already removed 277 tons of rubble.

The headquarters for the liquidation of the consequences is working on the spot.

As Ukrinform reported, at about nine in the morning on July 31, Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with two missiles, hitting a residential high-rise and an educational institution. A 10-year-old child is among the dead.
