Invaders hit four districts of Kharkiv region in past day
"Over the past day, the enemy fired artillery, mortars, and other weapons at the settlements of Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupyansk districts. In particular, Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Okhrimivka, Tykhe, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Borysivka, Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and other settlements came under fire," Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov posted on Telegram.
Private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Civilians were not injured.
The prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the shelling of residential sectors in Kharkiv region.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Kupyansk and Derhachi district prosecutor's offices of Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations were launched into the violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the Prosecutor General's Office wrote on Telegram.
According to the investigation data, on July 29, the enemy shelled the town of Kupyansk, damaging residential buildings. The village of Vilkhuvatka in Velykyi Burluk territorial community also came under Russian attack.
According to preliminary data, the occupiers shelled Kupyansk district with artillery.
In addition, around 20:30 on July 29, the enemy struck the village of Borysivka, Lypetsk community, where a residential building and a barn caught fire.
