War update: Ukrainian forces hit seven enemy artillery systems, two electronic warfare systems

In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian missile and artillery units have struck one Russian personnel, ammunition and military equipment cluster, seven artillery systems in firing position, two electronic warfare systems, and two surface-to-air missile systems.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched one missile strike and 65 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 84 times. Following Russian terrorist attacks, casualties among civilians were reported, as well as the damage caused to residential houses and other civil infrastructure.

The threat of Russian missile and air strikes is persisting all over Ukraine, according to the General Staff.

Twenty-six combat engagements have occurred over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remained rather unchanged.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian troops are maintaining military presence. The enemy launched air strikes near the Kharkiv region’s Veterynarne and Hranova. Over 20 settlements were affected by Russian mortar and artillery strikes in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian warriors are firmly holding defense. Russians launched an air strike near the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, as well as artillery and mortar strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Kyslivka and Berestove.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions to the south of the Luhansk region’s Dibrova. The enemy launched air strikes near the Luhansk region’s Bilohorivka and the Donetsk region’s Serebrianka, Spirne and Kuzmynivka. Russian artillery strikes affected the Luhansk region’s Nevske and the Donetsk region’s Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled Russian attacks to the east of the Donetsk region’s Stupochky and near Dyliivka. The enemy launched air strikes near Klishchiivka, Predtechyne and Dyliivka. Over 10 settlements were affected by Russian artillery strikes.

In the Avdiivka direction, under extensive artillery fire and air strikes, Ukrainian warriors successfully repelled Russian attacks near the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka. Over 10 settlements were affected by Russian artillery strikes.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian forces continue holding back Russia’s onslaught near Marinka. The enemy launched air strikes near Nevelske and Krasnohorivka, as well as artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka and Heorhiivka.

In the Shakhtarske direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near the Donetsk region’s Novomykhailivka, Zolota Nyva and Makarivka. Over 10 settlements were affected by Russian shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian occupiers are focusing efforts to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing. The enemy launched air strikes near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Novodarivka, Levadne, Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka. Over 30 settlements were affected by Russian artillery strikes.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, and are gaining a foothold within the re-captured frontiers.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched nine strikes on enemy personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters. Ukrainian defenders destroyed Russia’s Ka-52 helicopter, five Shahed-136 loitering munitions, and two reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
