Six Russian air defense systems neutralized in Kherson region

The relevant statement was made by Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In our sector, we have worked on six enemy air defense systems, and they can no longer protect the aircraft. Tactical aircraft in our direction stay within the zone inaccessible to our air defense in order to fire guided bombs at a distance of 50-60 kilometers. So far, this has made them inaccessible to our damage,” Humeniuk told.

Nevertheless, Ukrainian forces are working to develop their tactics and continue protecting the lane on the left bank to gain foothold there in a more secure situation. For now, these are counterbattery measures, Humeniuk added.
