This morning a new consignment of Leopards, ambulances, TOA vehicles, trucks, and different types of ammunition left for Ukraine.

That’s according to the Spanish Defense Ministry press service, Ukrinform reports.

“The other four Leopard 2A4 committed by the Spanish Government have already left Santander for Poland,” the report reads.

On July 24, a ship with military and humanitarian material bound for Ukraine left the port of Santander. It is expected that all the material will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in early August.

“Specifically, the material sent by Spain consists of the four Leopard 2A4s committed by the Government, which will be added to the six Leopard 2s with the same characteristics, which have already been delivered to the Ukrainian Government,” the Defense Ministry wrote.

Also included in the shipment are ten TOAs M-113 armored vehicles (three of them for the Border Guards), 10 Navy trucks (of which five will be delivered to the Border Guards and five to the Armed Forces), a multipurpose armored vehicle (for the Border Guards), three civil ambulances, and a BMR armored ambulance (which will go to military hospitals), as well as an armored civilian ambulance (for the Border Guards).

As reported earlier, Spain’s Defense Minister Margarita Robles reported following the latest Ukraine Defense Support group meeting that her country would be sending another four Leopard tanks and a batch of armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
