Attack on Odesa: 1 killed, 22 injured

In Odesa, one person was killed and 22 people, including four children, were injured in yet another enemy nighttime attack.

"On the night of July 22-23, Russian troops launched yet another massive attack on the territory of Odesa city and the region. As of 04:00, it was established that one person was killed and 22 people, including four children, were injured as a result of the enemy shelling of the city of Odesa," the National Police of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

According to the police, civilian infrastructure objects, apartment blocks and private residential buildings, cars were damaged and destroyed as a result of the missile attack. Many houses have damaged facades and roofs, broken windows.

A religious building in the center of Odesa, where the fire broke out, was also damaged.

Police officers work together with representatives of other services at the scene.

Law enforcement officers record the consequences of the enemy attack, protect territories and damaged buildings, ensure law and order, help rescuers in eliminating the consequences of yet another crime of the Russian Federation, and provide the necessary assistance to injured citizens, the report says.

As reported, according to the Operational Command "South", during the missile attack on the night of July 23, the enemy hit Odesa with at least five types of missiles of all types of launch: Kalibr, Oniks, Kh-22, Iskander-K, as well as Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
