Ukrainian defenders are consolidating their positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka - Novopokrovka and Velyka Novosilka - Urozhayne.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol, Berdiansk and Bakhmut directions, consolidating their positions and carrying out counter-battery measures. In the areas of Mala Tokmachka-Novopokrovka and Velyka Novosilka-Urozhayne, they have been successful and are consolidating their positions," the statement said.

At the same time, in the Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut. It is noted that heavy fighting continues: the enemy is putting up strong resistance, using reserves, but suffering significant losses.

As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 239,010 Russian invaders from February 24, 2022, to July 18, 2023, and another 710 people were killed over the past day.
