Ukraine's defense forces take Bakhmut 'under fire control' - Syrskyi

Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

"Bakhmut. The enemy is trapped. The city is under fire control of the Defense Forces," Syrskyi wrote.

He also released a video in which aerial reconnaissance spotted the positions of the Russians with ATGMs. The soldiers with Ukraine's 77th separate airmobile brigade effectively outworked and destroyed the Russians.

"The work continues. The enemy is being driven out of their positions in the Bakhmut sector," Syrskyi said.
