Threatening directions in north to be better covered by engineering barriers - Nayev

Soon, the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn directions will be more firmly covered by appropriate engineering barriers.

Serhiy Nayev, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this in a message on Telegram and posted a video, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, the inspection of the defense capabilities of the Northern Operational Zone within the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn directions has been completed. Administrations and soldiers have been assigned tasks to improve defense borders and positions.

"Soon the threatened areas will be more firmly covered by appropriate engineering barriers," the commander assured.

According to Nayev, training of Ukrainian soldiers in various situations has begun. This work will continue as planned. Those units that perform tasks directly along the state border will be reinforced with weapons and military equipment.

As  reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of strengthening Ukraine's northern border.
