The Ukrainian troops advance with battles on the southern flank in the area of Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.

"Our troops are advancing with battles on the southern flank in the area of Klishchiyivka. At the same time, fighting continues on the northern flank," Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar posted on Telegram.

She also reported that the situation in Bakhmut direction has escalated again. A duel is ongoing there to seize the initiative. Today, the Russians also tried to advance in this direction but failed, while the defense forces of Ukraine had some success.

"However, the situation is changing very rapidly. Control over the same positions can be lost and regained twice a day. The enemy actively reacts to all our actions and creates three lines of defense in threatening directions," Maliar explained.

The situation in Bakhmut city is also tense. Russian troops in the city constantly open fire, trying to disrupt logistics and inflict the largest possible losses on the defense forces of Ukraine.

"At the same time, our defenders do not allow the enemy to move around the city and hit enemy positions with fire," Maliar added.
